Game Show Day
A collaboration between veteran organizations in town including VFW 10262 and their Auxiliary, AMVETS Auxiliary and DAV presented the trial run of Game Show Day. VFW member Tim Bubla created and ran the game show. It was held February 10, 2025 at the Memory Center, at Whispering Pines Assisted Living, in Plover, Wisconsin. Amvets Auxiliary and DAV handed out gift bags.
Rifle Squad Presentation
Plover VFW Auxiliary and Rifle Squad Member Debbie Manthey obtained and presented National VFW Commander-In-Chief Al Lipphardt’s theme pins with personal letters of recognition and appreciation to each Rifle Squad member at the January 13th post meeting. She presented Rifle Squad Commander Norb Strasser with his pin, a commander coin and a letter of appreciation at the Rifle Squad Breakfast on January 19th.
Essay Competition Winners
The Plover VFW Post 10262 has announced the winners of its annual Patriot’s Pen and Voice of Democracy essay competitions.
Winners were recognized by Commander Barbara McCloy during the post’s December meeting.
