The Plover VFW Post 10262 has announced the winners of its annual Patriot’s Pen and Voice of Democracy essay competitions.

Winners were recognized by Commander Barbara McCloy during the post’s December meeting.

On Thursday, November 21,2024, Tim Bubla, Peggy Klitgaard-Mancel, and Ann Hazelton from the Plover VFW/VFW-Auxiliary Post 10262, along with Heartland Hospice, conducted an “Honoring our Nation’s Veterans” themed presentation at the Stevens Point Health Care Center in Stevens Point WI
Veteran Anthony Zblewski was honored with a special Honor Quilt from Silver Threads of Portage County/Disabled American Veterans 30, which was presented by Tim and Annie (VFW/VFW-A 10262).

Richard Schultz – US Navy (now deceased 11/22)
David Broadwell – US Air Force (now deceased 11/20)
David Hintze – US Air Force (now deceased 11/19)
Anthony Zblewski – US Amy/National Guard

Darrell Meronek- US Air Force
Donald Lemke – US Army
